Skyscrapers for SWITZERLAND - Wrapped Tree or "Bau 1"

Switzerland will soon be proud owner of a real skyscraper. With 163m and an investment of CHF 550 million the Roche (the pharmaceutical company) tower is planned to be finished in 2011. It will be the highest building in whole Switzerland.

Architects are Herzog & de Meuron. What is quite interesting about the architecture is that the building will offer different faces depending from which side it is observed from, due to its unique design.
